I’ve been looking for a nail salon that does hard gel in the area for about 6 months. I tried one other place and was not happy at all. Thankfully a friend recommended truelux! I am so excited to have my go to place 🙂 my nail tech was not only so professional but she was talented and listened to everything I asked for. If you want hard gel, don’t hesitate!
If i could leave 0 stars i totally would.I received a nail treatment on a Tuesday and Wednesday morning 1 of my nails FLUNG off while I was in the middle of a meeting at the office. Shortly after I washed my hands and another nail fell off.I contacted the nail tech who got in contact with the owner of the salon who AT THE TIME , was very apologetic and refunded me. THEN he offered me a complimentary service for my nails and guaranteed I should come back to their establishment for a "2 nd TRY" because of the terrible job the nail tech did. I accepted the gracious offer and even booked an appointment for my daughter to get her nails done with me at the same time.I went to Las Vegas for a conference and 2 weeks later came back to the salon to have my nails serviced.The owner had RANDOMLY changed his mind, the nail tech that had serviced my nails was no longer working there and a new Lady w/a NASTY ATTITUDE manager was there, She is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. If your going to service residents in the Hills and in Lakeway, Truelux nails better work on your customer service skills and the way you talk to clients IMMEDIATELY.How insulting and rude to come back to a salon {full of people} after the owner invited you to return (only because of their mistakes) , only to be told by a random lady with a horrible attitude that "I don't know you and I know nothing about what your talking about" "ill let you know once i call the owner" I asked when she would be able to call, her response " In a bit I'm busy"I called the salon later that day to follow up and "she was rude again and said "she had clients and she wasn't going to stop what she was doing to help me"I thought to myself (I AM ALSO A CLIENT)???No one called me back that same day or the next.I CALLED THEM BACK TO SEE WHAT THE MANAGER SAID finally.Here's the kicker, the owner called me and told me that everything is expensive now and that's why he cannot offer a complimentary service, since he refunded already.ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? THIS IS LAKEWAYWhat a waste of my time and how embarrassing to go back for a service TRUELUX offered only to be turned away rudely in front a whole salon of people! Please do not say things if you cannot keep your word!I DO NOT recommend this salon to anyone with class and self dignity."Get it together Truelux nails because right now its absolutely horrible."

The search for a good/consistent nail salon in Lakeway continues as another one fails to deliver. My friend and I tried this one and I was charged $49 for a simple gel manicure, then when I called they said it was $40 but ‘not today’ so no refund. The manicure was substandard and my friends dip took way too long and you could see through it. Don’t waste your money here.
This spa is amazing! It recently has been bought by a new owner and he is the best. We were greeted with a smile and offered beverages. The Spa is SO clean and smells SO nice. My nail tech did a fantastic job on my nails and was so gentle and attentive to my needs. Choose TrueLux every time!
Came in from out of state for a party and wanted to get my nails done before hand. The staff was very friendly, however the prices are higher than average and don't reflect the service given. I had a gel Mani/Pedi done and within 6 hrs ( which included a walk to lunch and lazing around the house) my big toe had half the polish missing from the bottom and 2 chipped nails! Called to let them know and they told me to come back in when we showed up they had closed early. We called again and Laura was super helpful she gave a refund for the gel polish since it wasn't acting as it should!

I recently got my nails done at TrueLux and I was throughly impressed by both service and quality of work. The facility is beyond gorgeous and very clean. The nail tech introduced me to this new product that was used on my hands and feet. It was like hybrid of acrylic and gel.I absolutely loved it! Overall, a positive and relaxing environment, I highly recommend.
Jyoti and her massage techniques are amazing!! I had Marma facial which is very rejuvenating and relaxing.I don’t know the last time I felt that relaxed. I loved the Pedicure too 🙂
I love this place Jay and all her wonderful technician ladies are so great ! Always a very calming and rejuvenating experience . Highly recommended ! the atmosphere is truly spa- like . Very clean and lovely organized ! Love it !!!!! I will only go back to Jay's salon !
